WHIST DRIVES
The whist drive held on April 15 raised £19 for church funds. The next whist drive will be on Tuesday, April 29 at 7.30 pm in the village hall.
SHENINGTON GREEN
A further reminder that contributions to the summer edition of the Shenington Green should be with the new editor, Carole Young or the publisher, Joy Kendell by the end of April.
HEADTEACHER
After five years of dedicated service the present head teacher, Frances Brown, will be leaving Shenington School at the end of July to take up a new appointment at Steeple Aston. Arrangements for the recruitment of a new head teacher are in hand.

The re-scheduled Vestry and Annual Church Meeting will now be held in Shenington Church on Thursday, May 1 after the Ascension Day service at 7.30 pm.
CHURCH FLOODLIGHTING
The lights on April 16 were sponsored by Liz Kirkman in memory of the birthday of her late father Ernest Coles..
CHURCH SERVICE
On Sunday, April 27 there will be a united benefice service at Drayton at 10.30 am. Consequently there will be no other services at Alkerton or Shenington that day.
